As a Lead Customer Success Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our school and district customers achieve their desired outcomes while maximizing the value they experience from Clayful.

What You’ll Do

As the Lead Customer Success Manager, you will:

Customer Health Operations

  • Be accountable for overall customer health, ensuring schools, districts, and families maximize the value of their partnership with Clayful.
  • Monitor customer health metrics and engagement data to proactively identify challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address concerns, implement solutions, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Regularly check in with stakeholders, including superintendents, principals, teachers, counselors, and families, to maintain alignment and support their needs.

Customer Engagement

  • Lead key interactions such as kickoff calls, family webinars, and professional development (PD) sessions both online and in-person as well as presentations to superintendents and board members
  • Facilitate conversations with diverse audiences—including educators, administrators, and families—to build understanding, foster strong engagement, and drive the successful implementation of Clayful’s coaching programs.

Contract Negotiation and Renewals

  • Collaborate with school districts to align on budgets, clearly communicate Clayful’s value proposition, and lead contract negotiations and renewal discussions to secure ongoing partnerships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of district priorities, funding cycles, and goals to proactively address challenges, identify opportunities to expand services, and advocate for tailored solutions that maximize impact and fit within budget constraints.

Systems Creation & Implementation

  • Design and manage scalable systems to track and enhance customer success, such as:
  • Customer health dashboards to monitor engagement and satisfaction.
  • Playbooks for onboarding, engagement, and program implementation.
  • Detailed workflows to ensure successful execution of playbooks by our partners.

Data Insights & Communication

  • Analyze customer data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Lead data talks with school leaders, presenting findings and recommendations in an accessible and impactful way.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop strategies that increase student engagement and demonstrate measurable outcomes.

Content Creation & Writing

  • Write professional, engaging materials such as playbooks, reports, emails, and training resources.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality presentations tailored to diverse stakeholders.
  • Create resources that showcase the impact and value of Clayful’s programs to customers and potential partners.

  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to establish trust and rapport with diverse groups, from educators to families to administrators.
  • Systems Thinker: Skilled at creating scalable systems, workflows, and tools to support customer success and operational efficiency.
  • Data-Driven: Competent in analyzing data, extracting meaningful insights, and communicating them in actionable ways to drive engagement and outcomes.
  • Public Speaking: Comfortable and compelling when delivering presentations, webinars, and training sessions, both in person and online.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in dynamic environments, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on impactful results.
