Melissa Pelochino

Melissa first started designing experiences in the 6th grade. It’s true! She created her own club, Club Live, and attracted exactly three members to join. Together, and to the delight of their classmates, they redesigned the assembly experience at their middle school.

Fast forward 30+ years and Melissa is still reimagining products, services and experiences just at a larger scale. She has held a variety of roles in education from teacher to literacy coach to school administrator. She followed her passion for experience design to Stanford University where she was a Fellow, Lecturer and Director of Professional Development of the K-12 Lab. Armed with a variety of skills and content expertise, Melissa transitioned to the edtech space where she led new product design and go-to-market strategy for edtech giants, Nearpod and Seesaw. Looking back, Melissa now realizes her unique career path has prepared her for the role of a lifetime: as a co-founder and Chief Experience Officer at Clayful Health.

Melissa is truly humbled by the opportunity to join an insanely talented team at Clayful Health in order to address the mental health crisis our kids are facing daily. When she is not obsessing over work, she can be seen playing silly games with her husband and two kids or chatting it up with locals at the dog park.
